Broken Bow High School students in Mr. Mike Schwetizer's construciton class designed and built roof trusses that were then strength tested at Sargent Pipe in Broken Bow. Trusses are used for roof construction and are characterized by their triangular shape. Their largest truss, which weighed 19 pounds, was able to withstand 3,700 pounds of pressure from the Sargent Pipe's hydraulic press.
