General FAQ's

How can I find an individual's contact information in the web site?

Use the navigation bar on the left side of the screen.  The Staff Directory link goes to a pair of web pages with every staff member's name, position, and email address by department and by alphabetical order.  The Contact Us link goes to a page that lists all of the district offices, mailing addresses, phone numbers, and personnel.

Teachers' web pages are most easily reached through the Learning Places link.  Administrative pages are organized by location or topic rather than person -- use the Home link or the District Info link as your starting point.

How can I find out what's happening in a specific classroom?

Information about classroom activities is kept in the teachers' web pages.  Start by clicking on the Learning Places link in the navigation menu to the left.

Editors FAQ's

How do I change my password?

You must be logged in to change your password.  Click on the "Change Password" link in the Membership area in the upper right corner of the page.

I forgot my password.  How do I find out what it is?

Click on your usual login link as if you were going to log in.  Fill in your eMail address in the first blank, but leave the password blank empty.  Click the Login button.  Manila will send you your current password by eMail.

How do I delete a story I don't need anymore?

Only the Managing Editor can delete stories.  Ask the Managing Editor of your web server to delete it for you.  Give them the exact title of the story you want deleted.
