3. Explain AR process and fill out reading log information
Thursday
Fiction
1. Genre mini-lesson between fiction and non-fiction
2. Notes on fiction genres
3. Genre assessment #2?
Friday
Accelerated Reader
1. Go to library to find AR books
8.4.1 at the 7th grade level, listen and view attentively and critically to gain information.
8.1.6 demonstrate the ability to read and enjoy novels independently chosen from a variety of literary forms and cultures.
Tuesdays & Fridays are Accelerated Reader Days--students have DEAR (Drop Everything And Read) time
Daily we have mini-lessons that review literary terms.
