CHOICE

Curriculum Having Opportunities for Individual Choices in Education

Alternative Education Explained

WHAT?     The CHOICE Program, an option for alternative education, is now available through Broken Bow Public Schools.  This program, offers a 6:1 student-teacher ratio, a computer-      based curriculum so students can work at their own pace, and will combine a limited number of “in-class” hours with actual work experience.

WHY?     Some students, for a variety of reasons, find it difficult to succeed in the traditional school setting.  With a change of the social and physical environment and a change in the method and pace of the delivery of instruction these students can experience success.

WHERE?     The CHOICE Program is located at Broken Bow Middle School in Room 142.

WHEN?     The CHOICE Program is now accepting referrals and applications for the 2007-2008 school year.

WHO?     Enrolled students at Broken Bow High School who desire to graduate, but who are finding it difficult to succeed, and any individual under the age of 21, who left school before completing their diploma requirements and who would like a chance to graduate, are encouraged to apply.

HOW?     To apply, call 872-0086 to request an application packet.  Complete the required forms and return them as soon as possible.
