Physics students were asked to design an apparatus made of toothpicks and glue that would protect an egg from an impact.  This activity aligns with state standard 12.1.4.   Students will develop an understanding of form and function.

This activity also aligns with state standard 12.3.4.  By the end of twelfth grade, students will develop an understanding of motions and forces.
