Art III

    Art III is a two semester course that introduces students to commercial design, acrylic painting and sculpture.  The understanding and application of compositional concepts, color theory, and design principles are emphasized.   The first semester is devoted to the study of computer generated images and commercial processes.  During the second semester, painting and sculpture are introduced along with art history and art criticism.  Originality and the development of individual styles are stressed in all areas of study.
