Congratulations to Audrey Foster for qualifying for State Speech in persuasive speaking! Congratulations to the speech team for their performances at the District Speech Meet: Audrey Foster – 2nd in persuasive speaking and 4th in informative, Hannah Smith – 5th in serious prose, Colten Eggleston – 5th in entertainment speaking, Gracie Williams – 5th in poetry, and Austin Hackel – 6th in poetry. Superior ratings went to Kayley Denson in humorous prose, Hollie Rose, Joy Karges, and Wheeler Walz in OID, Emma Spadea in entertainment speaking, Hannah Smith and Colten Eggleston in duet, Kate Hansel and Sabrina Lash in duet, Kate Hansel in persuasive, Emily Flint in serious prose, and Matthew Pracht in extemporaneous.
2014-15 SWC Girls and Boys All-Conference Basketball Selection meeting took place last night at Broken Bow High School among SWC Basketball Girls/Boys Coaches. Congrats to Jasmyn Brooks 2nd Team & Travis Kleeb 3rd Team
Due to State FFA/Ag Ed departure for Lincoln on Tuesday, April 7th, we will be adjusting the time schedule for Grades 6, 7, and 8th Choir Concert.

6:30 pm = 7th grade Choir will perform
7:00 pm = 8th grade Choir will perform
7:30 pm = 6th grade Choir will perform
The Broken Bow Athletic Department would like to announce that ALL Red and White football jerseys are for sale to ANYONE interested in purchasing a jersey. Each jersey will run $25.00 and will be put towards purchasing new uniforms for the 2015-2016 school year. Please see Coach Garner or Mr. Hogue for more details or to purchase a jersey during school hours.
Broken Bow Driver Education classes start on Monday, June 1, 2015 through Friday, June 5, 2015 from 8:00am to 12:30pm. Range and Simulation will take place in Kearney on Wednesday, June 10, 2015 from 10:00am to 6:30pm. Transportation to Kearney will be provided by Broken Bow High School. All students registering MUST have a valid permit (learner’s permit for a school permit, age 14; school permit, age 14 and 2 months; learner’s permit, age 15+). Cost for the course is $315.00. You may pick up a brochure and registration form in the high school or junior high office or register online at www.unk.edu/dred.

Students in grades K-12 should purchase activity passes before the first home contests. The cost is $35.00 and the pass will admit students to all Broken Bow Jr. High and Sr. High home activities for the 2014-2015 school year. Passes can be purchased at the Jr. High office.
Admission prices for home contests/games are as follows:
($3 for adults and $2 for students at non-varsity events)
