Choir members:  Don’t forget to sign up for concessions on Monday, November 3rd and Tuesday, November 4th.  If you are a 2nd semester choir student and want to work the concession stand for money toward your trip, please feel free to come in and get signed up.  

We will be giving away a free yearbook to one high school student and one junior high student.  You will have the chance to win the yearbook by playing “Guess the Teacher” during 3rd period.  

FFA members see Mr. Koepke for fruit sales.  Sign up for livestock judging that is on 11-10-14.

 Austin Hackel is one of 8 french horn players from the state who was selected to the 2014 Nebraska All-State Band. Congratulations!!!

Congratulations to the following freshmen for being selected to represent Broken Bow Public Schools at Singing Youth of Nebraska in February:  Delani Haines and Kirsten Staab.  Congratulations!

Congratulations to Hollie Rose for being selected as an alternate Soprano 2 for the Nebraska All State Choir.  Great job!

The FFA Greenhand meeting has been moved from Monday the 13th to Monday the 27th.

The following students have been selected by their peers as the October Student of the Month.  The character word they represent is RESPECT!!

Larry Eastwood from Central Community College and Dave McCarthy from Titan would like to have the opportunity to visit with  students in grades 9-12 regarding sponsorships to the CCC Diesel Program.
Due to the shortage of diesel technicians and the skill level required, companies will pay the cost of schooling and required tools for qualified students.
The presentation covers:

  • What skill sets the student needs to bring to CCC
  • What the CCC graduate needs to take to the work place
  • What the graduates can expect from the work place
    The date is set for October 30. Period 1 and 2 in Mr. Schweiter’s Classroom at BBHS (8:20 am start time).
