Changes to Middle School Study Hall

We are pushing our Middle School Students to move from Good to Great with academics on our NeSA Testing.

One amazing tool that we have to aid in this transition is the IXL online work for all Middle School Students.

Starting second semester, at the beginning of each MS study hall students get to work 25 minutes Mon/Tues on LangArts IXL, then on Wed/Thurs on Math IXL. Fridays are for students to finish up any regular school work.

Mondays- Thursdays students still have 24 minutes to complete regular school work, read AR or whatever else they may need to complete.

All Jr. High Wrestlers need to turn their wrestling gear into Mr. Schweitzer ASAP

Middle School Students:   There is to be NO FOOD OR DRINK in the locker rooms at any time.

Looking Ahead:

Tuesday, January 24th - Middle Assembly during first period or 8:15 am - This has been changed because of MAPS testing

Staff, Parents & Broken Bow Patrons,

Due to previous school cancellations this winter, BBPS Administration has decided that we will NOT be having an in-service day on Monday, February 13th, 2017.   Broken Bow Public Schools will run a regularly scheduled school day and a regular bell/dismissal schedule on this date.

If you have any questions, please feel free to contact a building administrator.

Thank you and sorry for any inconvenience this may cause you.

Library Blip:

Everything, Everything

by Nicola Yoon

My disease is as rare as it is famous. Basically, I’m allergic to the world. I don’t leave my house, have not left my house in seventeen years. The only people I ever see are my mom and my nurse, Carla.

But then one day, a moving truck arrives next door. I look out my window, and I see him. He’s tall, lean and wearing all black—black T-shirt, black jeans, black sneakers, and a black knit cap that covers his hair completely. He catches me looking and stares at me. I stare right back. His name is Olly.

Maybe we can’t predict the future, but we can predict some things. For example, I am certainly going to fall in love with Olly. It’s almost certainly going to be a disaster.
